"Letters From May" tells the story of a fictitious artist named May Dalton and her journey from scrappy, humble beginnings to stardom and eventually fame over the course of roughly sixty years. Through the course of the 10-minute musical we watch Dalton age from early 20's to early 80's and the ensemble around her play the various characters May encounters on her life’s journey. As a through-composed ensemble piece, it moves fluidly between the stages of May’s life from her start as an unknown to her rise to fame, celebrity, and her eventual descent to obscurity.”
