Stephanie is a New York City based Performer and Teaching Artist. She has most recently been seen onstage in Barrington Stage Company’s critically acclaimed revival of A Little Night Music (starring Jason Danieley, Emily Skinner, Sierra Boggess, and Mary Beth Piel,) A Comedy of Tenors at Riverside Theatre in Vero Beach, FL, and as Mary Poppins at Penobscot Theatre Company. Stephanie teaches on the Voice Faculties of Long Island University and CAP21 | Molloy University.

Originally from metro-Atlanta, she completed a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance at the University of Georgia's Hugh Hodgson School of Music. In addition to operatic and choral work at the HHSOM, Stephanie appeared in productions by UGA’s Department of Theater and Film Studies, including The Fantasticks as Luisa, and Sweeney Todd as Johanna. As a part of Athens’ thriving arts community, Stephanie was also seen in local productions including The Last 5 Years as Cathy, Tarzan as Jane, and Mary Poppins in the title role. Upon moving to NYC, Stephanie completed a Master of Music in Musical Theatre at New York University, making her New York debut as Rosa Bud in The Mystery of Edwin Drood at NYU’s Frederick Loewe Theatre. Passionate about new music theatre and works in development, Stephanie was seen as Young Gertrude in the New York premiere of Stephen Flaherty’s Loving Repeating, as May in Letters From May (Kris Bjarke and Kara Cutruzzula), and workshops of Life of the Party (Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin) and Finding Home (music by Ricky Ian Gordon.)

She has appeared in concerts at The Town HallFeinstein's 54 Below, and Birdland Jazz Club, and was a Semi-Finalist in the 2015 Lotte Lenya Competition

Stephanie loves collaborating with today’s composers and lyricists to develop and originate new works, and she is equally at home in the classics. Aiming to bring modern sensibilities to the canon’s familiar leading ladies, some of her bucket list shows include A Gentleman’s Guide To Love and Murder, She Loves Me, The Music Man, Into the Woods, My Fair Lady, The Secret Garden, The Sound of Music, Phantom of the Opera, Sweeney Todd, White Christmas, Camelot, and Brigadoon… to name a few. As a performing artist, Stephanie aims to bring truth, vibrancy, and contagious energy to her work, in service of authentic and compelling story-telling.


What’s Up?

Last summer, Stephanie revisited the role of Mary Poppins at Penobscot Theatre Company at the historic Bangor Opera House, in a five week run which received lovely reviews and played to sold out houses. In September, Stephanie will resume teaching at Long Island University and Molloy|CAP21 for the Fall and Spring semesters.
